Dr. Lisa Roberts is a dedicated Associate Veterinarian at Cottage Grove Animal Hospital, bringing decades of experience and a passion for providing exceptional care to her patients. Since entering the animal-related field in 1996, she has developed expertise in exams and consultations, emergency care, general surgery, and dentistry. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, surgery—both soft tissue and orthopedic—is her favorite, and she is known for her efficiency even in the most complicated cases.

Beyond her clinical skills, Dr. Roberts fosters a fun-loving, team-oriented work environment, always encouraging laughter and camaraderie among colleagues. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to pursue her lifelong passion for helping animals.

Outside of work, Dr. Roberts and her wife love traveling, camping, hiking, and gardening. She also enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes. At home, she shares her life with a house full of beloved pets—three Pit Bulls, a Lab mix, and three horses. In addition to her clinical work, she served on the board of Animal Folks LLC for 10 years and continues to contribute as a consultant.
