Kelsey W. joined Cottage Grove Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician in November 2024. She plays a vital role in patient care, assisting doctors in exam rooms and surgery, filling prescriptions, running diagnostics, and educating clients about their pets' health. Her favorite aspects of the job include assisting in surgery, handling lab samples, and discussing nutrition with pet owners.

Kelsey brings a strong work ethic and enthusiasm to the team—she’s a go-getter who thrives in a busy environment and loves learning new things. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Dakota Technical College in 2024 and has been working in the animal care field since 2022. She is also a proud member of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA).

Having grown up in Cottage Grove, Kelsey has a deep connection to the hospital—her family has trusted Cottage Grove Animal Hospital with their pets for years. Now, she’s excited to be part of the team, helping provide the same compassionate care she’s valued for so long.

At home, Kelsey has a 4-year-old orange and white tabby named Darbie. In her free time, she enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible, especially in the summer, when she loves attending car shows and soaking up the sunshine.
